Poinciana Homes and associated companies, have a long history of building single family homes and apartments in South Florida, going back more than 70 years. Manuel A. Larrieu or Manolo as he is known to friends, is an Engineering graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and has an MBA from the University of Miami. Manolo has a Certified General Construction license and a Florida Real Estate Brokers License. Currently, Manolo participates in all New Project Planning and Awards and ensures that Budgets and Schedules are met. By a strict attention to detail with monthly progress reports and regular meetings with owners, project schedules and budgets are accomplished in an efficient and timely manner.
The Poinciana office team includes a full time Office Manager, Accountant, Estimates/Subcontractor liaison and Secretary located in a Coral Gables office Building owned by the Principal.
Manuel Alfredo Larrieu II / Principal
Manuel Alfredo Larrieu II, is a third -generation home builder whose family as been in the industry for over 70 years. He attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, then received a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University, New Orleans, with a focus in Management and Marketing. After returning home, he continued his education at FIU earning a master’s in Construction Management from the College of Engineering and Computing. Manuel is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and holds several licenses including LEED Green Associate, LEAD Certified Renovator, Mold Inspector and is OSHA 30 Certified.
Ricky Garcia / Project Manager
Ricky Garcia joins the Poinciana Team as a Project Manager. Ricky is a born and bred Miami native whose family has an extensive background in the tile and stone industries. Ricky's first involvement in construction projects was in 2006 when he received his Lighting Specialist degree from the Lighting Association of America where he went on to design and install all lighting aspects of some of the most exclusive hotels, restaurants and residences in Puerto Rico. Most recently Ricky was the Senior Project Manager for a private civil engineering firm and personally oversaw multi-million dollar infrastructure projects throughout Miami-Dade County that were contracted by local, state and federal municipalities. Ricky's effortless ability to lead a team and his creative ability to problem solve as well as a keen eye for detail have allowed him to manage dozens of subcontractors and labor crews ensuring his projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Poinciana Homes was founded in the early 1960 by Rene Larrieu, as a family owned and operated construction company. Soon after, his son Manuel A. Larrieu joined the company, successfully built thousands of homes throughout Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Today, Manuel continues to guide and participate, along with the third generation of home builders, Manuel A. Larrieu II. Under their new direction, Poinciana Construction focuses primarily in residential custom home building in the South Florida area. Located throughout Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties, Poinciana Homes include spectacular waterfront condos and luxurious single-family residences with the finest finishes.
